So, this is a sort of soft opening of my watercolor print shop. These adorable animal prints are available in 5″ x 7″ right now and would look precious in a kids bedroom clustered together in a gallery wall format. Wouldn’t they be great as a baby shower gift?! The prints don’t come framed, but I love and totally recommend using the Ribba frames from Ikea which have clean lines and come with a mat included. Visit my SHOP to purchase prints!
A few weeks ago, Jamie and I visited a tulip farm in Woodburn, Oregon. Every year during a short period of time in spring, the farm hosts the “Wooden Shoes Tulip Festival”, which features their newly bloomed bulbs, food vendors, live entertainment and a u-pick area. It was dreamy walking through these endless rows of tulips.
HoPpy Easter and Passover to you all. Didn’t this cookie basket come out so cute? I made a batch of Robins Egg Cookies to give to all of my neighbors today and thought you might like to see how I decorated them. Here is a video tutorial.
After I finished decorating the cookies, I let them dry overnight before wrapping them in cellophane bags. I handmade the labels on a whim late last night using one of my scrap pieces of watercolor paper. I used a fine tip sharpie marker to make faux calligraphy script saying ‘Hoppy Easter’ and tied the labels to the cookie bags with some natural twine. This morning I placed the basket by our elevator in the lobby hoping our neighbors wouldn’t be shy to take one home with them!
